JCP Construction Products is the professional fixed department of Owlett-Jaton, known for its quality and an ever-expanding product range. This includes its nylon frame fixtures and stainless steel heavy-duty anchoring series, backed by unparalleled technical support and on-site product testing.

JCP provides a comprehensive CE certified and ETA certified nylon frame fixture with a fire rating of R90 (90 minutes resistance). Available in 8 mm or 10 mm diameter, with polyamide PA6 nylon sleeve. The 10 mm diameter option has a fire rating of up to 90 minutes and is used to fix the external wall system to the concrete.

Tested by ETAG 020-plastic anchors for multiple purposes in non-structural applications-ETA has confirmed that these nylon frame fixtures can be used on a range of solid and hollow substrates for a variety of fixings in non-structural applications. Basic materials include cracked and non-cracked concrete, lightweight aggregate concrete, solid masonry, hollow or perforated masonry, and AAC (Aerated Autoclaved Concrete).

The nylon frame can be fixed with bright galvanized steel countersunk head screws, hexagonal flange head screws and countersunk A4-70 316 stainless steel screws. Stainless steel screws are very suitable for external use, including marine environments. The countersunk head design provides a flush surface, the TX drive provides fast and powerful insertion, and the hexagonal flange head design distributes the load to a larger surface area and is compatible with the corresponding socket.

JCP has also expanded its stainless steel A4-316 heavy-duty anchor product range by introducing hexagonal bolts and countersunk bolt types into its expanding product range. The anchor bolts are approved for use under seismic action C1 and C2, and provide high tensile and shear strength. Both can withstand 30-120 minutes of fire exposure, and the fire rating is A1.

These two types are consistent with the existing A4-316 heavy-duty anchor stud and nut types and have the same standards. The A4-316 stainless steel body enables heavy-duty anchors to be used in internal and external applications, including marine environments.

To support the entire product range, JCP provides an anchor calculation program (ACP) designed to simplify the designation of floor, ceiling, and wall connections, as well as factors such as load, spacing, and edge distance. ACP is available from the JCP website and can be downloaded and used by anyone for free. ACP users only need to enter the relevant data of a particular application, and the program will suggest repairs accordingly. It includes fire and seismic requirements, and can accurately recommend suitable anchors based on the connection configuration.

Professional fixture brands have also invested in the production of detailed animated videos that clearly show how to install these fixtures correctly. JCP takes the end user as the starting point, hoping that these videos can support their customers when dealing with end users.

With the ever-changing needs of the construction industry and the needs of end customers, JCP's support has been further extended to its experienced regional sales managers to conduct on-site product testing across the UK upon request. The construction industry has witnessed an increase in such requests, and in turn, site visits are conducted almost daily-pull tests are performed to prove the suitability and capabilities of JCP products, and to ensure proper installation.

The test bench is installed on a fixture, and the load is applied to a specified level, which determines the strength of the application. Upon completion, documents will be provided to the customer to confirm the application. This includes reports that record the load reached, corresponding product data sheets for comparison, and calibration reports—proving the results are true and accurate. Whether it is to meet the requirements of building regulations or for peace of mind, JCP regional sales managers are always on behalf of customers to provide advice.

Field testing is mainly for new construction projects, but also includes new extensions to existing structures. Any JCP brand product can be tested according to the corresponding specifications, which also takes into account the relevant basic materials. This includes various CE and ETA accessory products provided by JCP.

Many contractors now need to provide proof testing for fixtures. This is an expensive and time-consuming practice. If approved anchors are installed under the supervision of trained operators, verification testing may not be required to verify the quality of the installation. JCP's technical department provides installation training courses for contractors and their personnel.

Many JCP products are certified and regulated, including CE certification, ETA certification, WRAS (Water Regulation Advisory Program) and fire protection products. All this benefits from a good reputation, technical support and a wide range of packaging options.
